25" Butler Jewelry Case Chest
This unique wooden Jewelry Stand was inspired by an eighteenth century Sewing Chest found in the Smithsonian's Castle Collection. The original was made of paper mache using a process patented in 1772 by Henry Clay of Birmingham, England. Today's version offers contemporary storage compartments and a removable tray that reveals a secret compartment! Four entwined legs are carefully hand-carved from poplar wood using baroque design.
